Fruit Smoothies for Summer
These summertime smoothies are quick, easy and healthy. Replace any fruit with what’s in season to add variety.
Pineapple Smoothie – Just three ingredients make this smoothie delish: pineapple chunks, vanilla yogurt and ice. Quick and yummy!
Blueberry Banana Smoothie – Past ripe bananas work perfectly in smoothies. Peel them, wrap them in plastic, and freeze them.
Summer Breeze Smoothie – Try this healthy treat for summertime featuring strawberries, bananas and pineapple.

(Serves 2)
Peach Smoothie Ingredients
- 1 c. sliced peaches, fresh, frozen or canned, drained and rinsed
- 1 c. fat-free vanilla yogurt
- 1 c. crushed ice
- 1 c. fresh or frozen unsweetened raspberries; reserve six berries for garnish
- Mint leaves (optional), for garnish
Directions
Put peaches, yogurt, ice and all but six raspberries into a blender and puree. Serve in tall glasses. Garnish with reserved berries. The smoothie will be thick enough for berries to float on top. Add fresh mint leaves if you have them.
Amount per serving: 150 calories, 7 g protein, 0 g fat, 0 mg cholesterol, 25 g carbohydrates, 5 g fiber, 80 mg sodium.
